e-Pauti Odisha is the official online portal at odishalandrevenue.nic.in, launched by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Government of Odisha, that allows landowners across all 30 districts of Odisha to pay their annual land revenue (Khajana) online, download rent receipts (Pauti), and verify payment history – completely free of cost.
The official website is https://odishalandrevenue.nic.in. This is the only official government portal for Odisha land revenue payment. Do not use any third-party websites claiming to be the e-Pauti portal.
Khajana (ଖଜଣ) is the Odia term for land revenue – the annual tax that every landowner in Odisha must pay to the state government. The amount depends on the type, area, and classification of the land. e-Pauti allows you to pay this Khajana online without visiting any government office.
No. The e-Pauti portal is completely free to use. The government does not charge any service fee for online Khajana payment. However, your bank may charge a small transaction fee for debit/credit card payments, and international cards may attract a convenience charge.
The annual Khajana payment deadline is March 31 of each financial year. Late payment attracts interest charges compounded annually. The best time to pay is between September and December to avoid server congestion close to the deadline.

Khatiyan (ଖତିଆନ) is the Odia term for Record of Rights (ROR) – the comprehensive land document showing ownership details, survey numbers, plot area, encumbrances, and mutation history. You need your Khatiyan details (especially Khata number) before making payment on e-Pauti.
Khata (ଖାତା) is your land revenue account number – a unique identifier for your specific land holding. Khatiyan (ଖତିଆନ) is the full Record of Rights document that contains all land details, ownership information, and rights. The Khata number is one piece of information found within the Khatiyan document.
Go to odishalandrevenue.nic.in → Click “Know Your Transaction ID” → Enter Financial Year, District, Tehsil, Village Number, and Khata Number → Click “GET” → Your Transaction ID will appear on screen.
Yes. NRIs can use e-Pauti from anywhere in the world without any special permission. International debit and credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) are accepted. NRIs with Indian bank accounts can also use UPI or net banking. No additional government approval is needed.
Do NOT make a second payment. Note your Bank Transaction ID or Reference Number immediately. Contact your Tehsil office in person with this number and a copy of your bank statement showing the deduction. Refunds are processed within 15–30 working days.

e-Pauti (odishalandrevenue.nic.in) and Bhulekh Odisha (bhulekh.ori.nic.in) are two different portals in the same ecosystem. Bhulekh shows your land records and Khatiyan details. e-Pauti uses those details to process your Khajana payment. The workflow is: check Bhulekh first to find your Khata number → then pay on e-Pauti using that number.
Yes – the portal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, during peak months (January to March) before the March 31 deadline, server response may be slow. The best time to access for smooth payment is early morning (before 9 AM) or late evening (after 9 PM).
