If you do not have the Patta or Survey number, you can search by the landowner’s name: Follow Steps 1 to 5. Select “Name” under View Patta/Chitta Using. Enter the owner’s name as recorded in government records and verify with OTP.

Poramboke (புறம்போக்கு) is government-owned land including roads, water bodies, common grazing land, temple land, and reserved land that cannot be privately purchased or transferred.

Natham (நத்தம்) or Gramathu Natham (கிராமத்து நத்தம்) refers to the traditional village settlement area the residential land within a village where homes are built, as distinct from the surrounding agricultural fields.

In Tamil Nadu, most villages have a central residential cluster (Natham) surrounded by agricultural land. The revenue classification and administrative rules for Natham land are different from regular agricultural Patta land.
